TL;DR - This appears to be a serious “AHA” moment for all software, including databases, where the new Anthropic model Mythos can detect (and exploit) vulnerabilities in foundational software. To address, there is a group of industry companies working to address before releasing the model broadly.
TL;DR - MariaDB’s response to the Percona benchmark with clarifying information and counter-points to some of the findings.
Spin up Postgres in a second: How We Built Serverless PG for Agents.
TL;DR - Deeplake - another serverless PostgreSQL offering focused on agentic workloads with branching and merging of data.
TL;DR - Interesting comments on using AI with database systems including an AI Policy.
TL;DR - A novel way to expose your docs to the AI models via SSH. Everyone needs to think differently about how to expose your resources to the models.
